AllChinaBuy Spreadsheet Categories

Choose the product type first so the rows you compare need the same evidence and answer the same questions.

Why categories matter

A watch, jacket, and pair of shoes should not be judged with one generic checklist. Categories help you look for the right photo angles, measurements, material information, and likely weight.

Which category should you start with?

Start with the narrowest product type you can name without guessing. If “clothing” is too broad, choose hoodies, shirts, jackets, or pants. If “accessories” is too broad, decide whether you mean jewelry, watches, bags, or a small add-on.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Opening every category in separate tabs.
  • Comparing unlike products on price alone.
  • Assuming a category label validates the row.
  • Ignoring dimensions or shipping weight.
  • Saving entries whose external link no longer matches.

Before opening an external page

  1. Name the detail you need to verify.
  2. Know which measurements matter.
  3. Decide what would disqualify the row.
  4. Open only the most relevant category page.

Next, apply the seven-point checklist and review external-link safety notes.

Keep one short note for each candidate

Write down the detail that made you keep the row and the question that remains unanswered. For shoes that might be fit and sole shape; for clothing, measurements and fabric; for bags or accessories, dimensions and close-up details. Electronics also need clear model, condition, compatibility, and shipping information.
